Oh Hello Everyone!!

As you may have heard, we will be closed on Wednesdays for the time being. We are in a period of transition but please trust that we are all working hard to make things come together for not only our amazing customers but for our hardworking superstar staff! Keep your eyes peeled for our normal scheduled hours to reappear. In the meantime, we appreciate each and every one of you. Near and far!

Thank you all for being amazing & supporting us through these crazy last couple years…. We are at full seating capacity in our dining room. We highly recommend reservations for dinner, but do not take them for lunch…Come see us soon!

BREAKFAST: Sadly, breakfast cannot be a normal part of our schedule. We MAY have an occasional pop-up brekkie…but not on the regular. We have honestly given this our best attempt, but only have so many staff members and time to go around. LUNCH: first come, first serve as always DINNER: reservations are STRONGLY recommended

We feel that going out for a meal is more than just what's on the plate… it’s the river off the back dining room, the hibiscus blooming on the patio, the funky women’s room, the little toy soldier hanging in a plant, the groovy green doors, and obviously, it's one-armed Godzilla keeping watch… but mostly, it’s a staff that understands our mission, is invested in it....and executes it so well. we have all evolved quite a bit since day one in 2004...we've learned how to be better bosses, better
workmates and better leaders. some of us, like krista and tammy, have been doing this together since the
very beginning, others came later, but all of our crew has a key role to play. besides getting your
dinner out on a saturday night, that role is being part of a family.
sure, we can be dysfunction junction like most families....
but at the end of a long hot day, we love and respect each other...
and then we often go on vacation together!

Tam has been at Krista's side since before day one and krista's the restaurant would not have survived without her taking over many aspects of life here. so please give her some love next time you see her! when she's not organizing the krista's universe or krista herself, or being our main support human, you might find her driving any number of teenagers around, organizing the shebarge, having a bevie on the mountain or basking in the sun somewhere getting even more gorgeous than yesterday

Chef helped shift krista's to a different level with new menu items, wide use of local produce and meats... and of course the amazing dinner specials you are all familiar with.
when he's not in his basement den of creativity at krista's or working the line, he's home with his family, doing home renovations or out in his kayak, in a secret fishing spot torturing Chase, Marston and Ken with pictures of prize winning fish

we get so many questions about holidays and we adore the fact that you
like to spend yours with the likes of us! below is a list of major holidays,
hours and reservation policies for each. we hope this helps!
we suggest planning ahead to ensure your desired reservation.
we will not be posting our holiday menus here on the website because
they change with every holiday.... we believe that if you trust us enough to
share your holiday celebrations with us, you trust us
enough to have a darn sweet menu too!

New Year's Day: normal business hours if this falls on a day we are normally open.
if this falls on a Monday or Tuesday, we will be closed.
Valentine's Day: if this falls on a day we are not normally open, hours will be 4-9.
if this falls on a day we are open, we will have normal business hours BUT will
stop serving lunch at 2:30 in order to get ready for Valentine's dinner.

Christmas Eve: so this is a tricky one. we think christmas is about family but sometimes crew wants to work so we might do limited snacks. then drinks! we will, however post this information and we WILL at the very least be here for Gift Certificates from 10-4 in case you've forgotten that crucial gift!
Christmas Day: closed. sorry, but yes!
